Third Solutions, Inc. is an active member of ARTS (The Association for Retail Technology Standards) and since joining in 2006 has participated in numerous roundtables, attended technology sessions and been part of the NRF Annual Convention ARTS Pavilion for the past two years. Since joining ARTS in 2002, Third Solutions has taken the lead on designing the next version of the ARTS Digital Receipts XML standard which was originally published in January 2002. The Digital Receipts platform support both the Digital Receipt XML standard as well as the widely deployed ARTS T-Log XML schema also known as POSLog.

The Association for Retail Technology Standards of the National Retail Federation is a retailer-driven membership organization dedicated to creating an open environment where both retailers and technology vendors work together to create international retail technology standards.

ARTS is a separate council within the NRF governed by a council of retailers and technology solution providers. Established in 1993, ARTS strives to ensure that technology works to enhance a retailer's ability to implement store-level business solutions.
